The Hario digital scale is a kitchen scale specially designed for preparing coffee since it has a built-in stopwatch.

This scale measures two important parameters in every coffee recipe: weight and time, and does so simultaneously thanks to its two-part digital display.

This allows us to weigh the coffee or water while controlling, for example, the extraction time.

Thanks to the fact that this digital kitchen scale is capable of measuring weight increments from 0.1 grams and accurately measuring time thanks to its built-in stopwatch, we'll have the precision necessary to reliably prepare our recipes.

Why is a scale important for making coffee?

Whenever we prepare a coffee, regardless of which one, we are following a recipe.
