Moccamaster KBG Select Coffee Maker

The Select version retains the distinguished design and materials of its predecessor, the KBG 741 AO, but takes the entire process to the next level:

"1/2 Jug" Functionality for Perfection

The "1/2 Carafe" feature transforms coffee extraction. By slowing down the brewing process, it achieves optimal extraction for both half a carafe and a full carafe. Every cup, regardless of the quantity, achieves optimal flavor and aroma extraction.

Enhanced Water Dispersion

The 9-hole showerhead enhances the dispersion of water throughout the grind. Each coffee bean is evenly moistened, unleashing its full potential of flavor and aroma.

Temperature

The smart heating plate adds a touch of precision. Before brewing, it preheats the carafe. It then keeps the coffee at the optimal temperature, between 80 and 85 degrees, for up to 45 minutes. It also automatically adjusts to the amount of coffee in the carafe to prevent burning.

HBS vs. SELECT Comparison in Three Points

Visually: Both share the same shape, but the Select features a 2-button design on the front, while the HBS has only 1.
Operation: The main switch turns on the machine and preheats the carafe. In both models, the smart plate keeps the coffee at 80 degrees Celsius. The Select model has an additional button that optimizes extraction with the carafe half full. When switched to the "half carafe" position, the diffusion of water slows down, improving extraction.
Variety of Colors: The HBS offers 3 basic colors (black, white, matte aluminum), while the Select offers up to 21 striking and original colors to choose from.
